June 5 - Wanganui

I have a couple pictures of where we stayed at the Castlecliff Caravan Park.

Yes, it really is that small, looks like a Doll house.  It was very comfortable, bed was good, bathroom was clean and the shower was a decent size although the water pressure was nothing to write home about

Everything you require, only in miniature

This is the view outside our door, I love those palm trees

This is the Drury Tower - it is a tribute to the men of Wanganui who lost their lives during WWI

It is hard to see, but there is a mountain behind that water tower.  This is one of the views from the top of the tower.  What a climb, makes you dizzy coming down.

Another view, we loved the house...wonder who lives there!

Something unusual we have noticed here, all the pine trees are trimmed from the bottom up, approximately 10 feet from the ground.  We think it is to let the sunshine get to the roots, they actually look nice.  We think the pine trees have all been planted although it is just a guess.
