8 More Sleeps
To say that I am excited is quite a bit of an understatement. I have been packed for 3 weeks now. Dalton has his golf bag packed, but I can't get him interested in packing the real thing.
We had a really nice Christmas, my cousin Holly and her husband, Phil along with Warren, Rebecca and our new son-in-law, Rob were here for dinner and most of the day. This was the longest visit we have had in a very long time. It's kind of hard to get to know our son-in-law when we only see him for a couple of hours every three months or so. It also makes it hard to suck up to him, because he brings us the best crab and halibut.
Now we have to rethink our packing, carry on that is, because some stupid ass decided to try to bomb another airplane...now the rest of the world has to suffer, especially those who are travelling to the States or even just passing thru.
Dalton's brother Dennis is going to be showing up in the next couple of days and my niece, Christina is going to have a baby on Monday in Nanaimo so we have a few more exciting things happening before we leave home for an extended period to time. I think my son is going to be showing up pretty soon, I couldn't send a care package home with him after dinner last night because his room-mate is home from camp so Warren will be looking for turkey left-overs soon.
