Cooinda and Jabiru

After we were finished with the Yellow River Cruise we went into Jabiru to have a look around.  We were going to take a plane ride over the area to make sure we saw everything there was to see but it was really looking like a storm was brewing, heavy, low clouds so we couldn't go.  One of the reasons we wanted to go was so we could take a picture of the Holiday Inn in Jabiru, it is shaped like a crocodile.  They did a very good job of it.  We had to settle for a postcard.

One of the pictures I forgot to insert from the cruise was some Magpie Geese.  They are the only geese that sit in trees and it was really strange to see them.

They look really cool, however, they don't show up as good as I would like

After we wandered around Jabiru we headed back to Cooinda, they had a beautiful pool with a waterfall at the campground.  We spent a couple of hours at the pool, didn't cool off much as they keep the pools so warm, it is not much of a relief from the heat.  We would have preferred it to have been about 10 degrees cooler, but at least it was wet.
